About the X-RAY
What exactly is the X-RAY?
The X-RAY is a free diagnostic that scans your homepage against 22 buyer questions — the same questions your prospects are answering silently when they land on your site. We score where deals stall and show you specifically what's missing. Instant, self-serve, no commitment.
Is it really free?
Yes. The X-RAY has always been free. It's step one of a two-step process: diagnose, then fix. You don't need to proceed to step two. The report is yours either way.
What do I get from the X-RAY?
A full diagnostic report: a verdict band (what stage your commercial story is at), scores across 22 buyer questions, the top three deal-stall points, and specific recommendations. The report is yours to use whether or not we ever work together.
About the Deal Sprint
Can you really understand my company in two weeks?
I don't start blank. The X-RAY scans your homepage before we ever speak. By the time we talk, I've already formed a hypothesis about where the commercial story breaks. The founder interview confirms or challenges it. Two weeks is enough because the work is structured: days 1-2 are research, day 3 is the interview, days 4-5 are scoring and writing. You get a report backed by evidence from your own materials, not generic advice.
What if we already have positioning?
Most founders who say this have a positioning slide, not positioning decisions. The test: can two people on your team explain what you sell, who it's for, and why it beats the alternative — and give the same answer? If not, the decisions underneath haven't been locked. The Sprint doesn't replace your thinking. It tests whether the decisions have been made, and locks the ones that haven't.
How is this different from hiring a positioning consultant?
A positioning consultant gives you a framework and a workshop. You leave with a category and a one-liner. Six months later, the deck has drifted because nobody built the assets from the decisions. The Sprint locks decisions and builds assets in the same engagement: positioning card, core story, homepage preview, deal map. When the two weeks end, the team has materials they can use, not just a strategy they need to implement.
How much time does this take from me?
About four hours across two weeks. One 90-minute interview and some async review. I do the research and writing between sessions. You don't write briefs, produce deliverables, or attend workshops where the output is more workshops.
Working together
How do I get started?
Run the free X-RAY at xray.product.zone. After you see the report, if you want to walk through it together, book a 30-minute intro call. No commitment either way.
Can I talk to you before running the X-RAY?
Yes, but I'll probably suggest you run it first. The X-RAY gives us a shared starting point. It's harder to have a useful conversation about where your commercial story breaks without it.
What happens after the Sprint?
You have six deliverables and a clear direction. Most founders can execute from there. If you want to build out the full commercial system — homepage, pitch deck, deal operation — the Deal System extends the Sprint over ten to twelve weeks. Sprint investment is credited.
Still have a question?
Email us or book a 30-minute intro. Not a sales pitch — I'll tell you whether this is a fit before we waste each other's time.
